Written for the "near-death experiences" square on the Medic card for RvB Bingo Wars! You can find a link to the mix here. Ending has been delightfully Jossed.

1) Sarge was an ODST before coming to Blood Gulch. War is Hell.
2) Carolina has a lot of healing to do after having grown up with a strict, powerful father who kept pushing her to be better than a ghost.
3) Allison did die, but she's not gone.
4) When Epsilon tried to kill himself the first time, he almost took Wash with him. For someone with a history of his body being used against him, that isn't something you heal from easily.
5) Church should be dead. His body sure is. Which means he must be a ghost, yep, definitely a ghost, and not this "Alpha" or whatever. He just wants his body back
6) López sigue perdiendo la cabeza, pero los humanos pagarán.
7) Grif gets blown up, and while it would make more sense to just make him the cyborg, Simmons is more than willing to save his... to save Grif.
8) Caboose feels funny. Junior sure does drink a lot of blood.
9) Donut may or may not shout the words to "Bulletproof" whenever Wash is around just to fuck with him.
10) After the first week, it becomes clear the team isn't going to come looking for Doc. Not even Donut, his supposed boyfriend. And good riddance! O'Malley's right, he doesn't need them!
11) The Last Stand on Charon. Tucker stands with his family and does the only thing he can: try.
12) Grif comforts Simmons after the big fight. They've lost a lot of people dear to them, but they still have each other.
